Your Generous Support

Heritage India is profoundly grateful to our friends, staff and especially the dining public for your support during these very challenging times. Needless to say, this has been a very draining experience, emotionally and financially.

On the one hand, we draw strength from the many Washingtonians we have gotten to know. It has been our privilege to welcome you into our dining room regularly and greet you by name. Through the years, we’ve had wonderful conversations about your lives, your families and your favorite dishes. We’ve shared graduations, weddings, retirements and seen hundreds of pictures of your trips to India.

We sincerely thank you for the steadfast loyalty and generosity you have shown in recent weeks. We appreciate every one of you who has come to our Dupont Circle dining room knowing the drink menu would be limited to non-alcoholic beverages. This didn’t stop you from filling our dining room with the warmth and camaraderie we have come to cherish.

Others of you have called to place delivery and carry-out orders night after night expressly to show your financial support. When we hear familiar voices making such a personal investment in our wellbeing, we are deeply inspired and comforted.

We couldn’t rebound in a matter of days and re-open to serve you without our hard-working staff. We thank our loyal employees who stood firm through an unforeseen reduction in hours and sprung back into action with the highest degree of professionalism.

Even as we come together and solider on, our business and our employees have been hard hit by the loss of revenue. We have lost income that we need to survive and thrive.

Your continued patronage is critical to our day-to-day finances. We look forward to meeting your special holiday guests and would be pleased to host your party of friends, family and business colleagues for lunch or dinner. Whether an intimate gathering of loved ones or a large office party, it would be our privilege to serve you. Thank you again for your invaluable support and best wishes for a peaceful holiday season.
